AP Drawing

From 2018 to 2019, I took an AP Studio art course, focusing on creating a traditional Drawing portfolio. The portfolio consists of 10 drawings that portray my concentration statement.

During this sustained investigation, I chose to draw portraits of family, friends, and pets who are close to me because their presence and significance in my life inspire me. Whether it be my siblings, my cat, or my cousins, I strived to capture their likeness to express my appreciation for them and emphasize the qualities that make them special. Hence why not all drawings have backgrounds. Through these portraits, I was not only able to strengthen my skills and techniques as an artist, but also create a personal tribute to the people I care about most.
